How to Clean a Fireplace Surround

How to Clean a Fireplace Surround. A fireplace surround needs regular cleaning, especially during cold winter months when the fireplace is often in use. Black soot and smoke emit from the fireplace, sticking to the surrounding fireplace surface. To get rid of the buildup and restore the fireplace to its original condition, you need to incorporate a cleaning routine that will keep the fireplace surround looking brand new.
